First General Meeting

Hello everyone!

Our first general meeting of the term is being held this Monday, Spetember 15 in Wentworth House B115 (the darkroom). The meeting will begin at 5:30, and then run again at 6:30 for those of you who have class at 5:30.

Come to the meeting to hear details about darkroom membership, workshops, field trips, the MPA gallery, and more.

Along with darkroom memberships, we will also be selling film and paper.

Summer Darkroom Use

Hi everyone,

If anyone's around for the summer and interested in using the darkroom, send us an email at mpaemail@hotmail.com. The fee will be $20 and we will provide all the chemicals that you will need. You'll have to buy your own paper and film, but we will also sell that if you need it.

Mona's Goodbye Message & MPA's Last Event of the Year!

Hi MPA,

Thanks to everyone who made this year so much fun and such a great success! I had a great time going with you guys on the trips, testing out ideas at the workshops, and finally showing off all your fabulous work at our gallery - Art Exposed 2007!

I hope that you all continue doing what we all love, taking photos, each in your own style. I also hope you can join us for our last event of the year, an MPA social at the Phoenix on Thursday, April 12th from 10pm onwards. It's during exam time, but definitely stop by for a study break! Last year's exec member, Emma Timmons, will be joining us from Ireland. I'm graduating this year so it'll also be nice to say goodbye to you all in person, and wish the best for our graduating exec team and general members. The social will also give us an opportunity to welcome in the MPA president for next year, Olivia Caron.

Thanks again for everything MPA! I'm definitely going to miss you!

& Wednesday, March 28 from 1:30-2:30

So come by to pick up your pictures & prizes, buy paper/film/sleeves, or just to chat! We'll also have some 8x10 frames on hand for $1.50 if you'd like some to display your wonderful gallery shots.

Job Opportunity - McMaster Centre for Dance

The McMaster Dance Company is looking for a photographer for their spring showcase. They need 1-2 photographers who are experienced with taking movement shots. The photographers need to be available from 10-2:30pm on April 1st and they will be paid for their services.
